Recently selected as one of Boston’s 25 most fashionable people, Boston Bruins defenseman Aaron Ward had this to say today about the club’s new third jersey:

“I love it. It’s understated. It’s got a little bit of a link to the past with the emblem on the front. They didn’t try to do too much. I think it’s classy, it’s good.”

There could be just one down side to the predominantly black jersey:

“There was some study out there about referees and black jerseys, that it didn’t bode well for the team in black. … So we’ll have to be extra disciplined,” said Ward with his tough planted in his cheek.
