For the second straight week my Bruin of the Week is a rookie.

Forward Blake Wheeler earned the honor for the week ending Nov. 30 by putting up two goals, one assist and a plus-5 rating in three games, two Bruins wins and one loss.

Wheeler has teamed with center David Krejci and an assortment of other wingers to give the Bruins a second scoring line that’s made them the envy of many teams in the NHL. The first-year pro has made the Bruins’ time without the injured Marco Sturm a lot more survivable.

Others who earned consideration last week were winger Phil Kessel (3-1-4, plus-1), defenseman Dennis Wideman (1-2-3, plus-2) and winger Michael Ryder (2-2-4, plus-2).
