TAMPA — After the Boston Bruins’ 3-1 win over Tampa Bay tonight at the St. Pete Times Forum, Bruins head coach Claude Julien explained that defenseman Dennis Wideman missed the game with a “middle-body” injury.
“(I found out) just as I was putting in my line-up. He tweaked it this morning, tweaked a muscle taking shots. It was a situation where there could be a chance it might get worse and he wasn’t good enough tonight to help us out.
“Speaking right now, the way things are looking, he should be in on Saturday (at Florida).”
