BOSTON — Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien opted to make this morning’s  pregame skate optional — but it was still well-attended.

Every player made it out onto the ice — including Aaron Ward and Petteri Nokelainen — minus Zdeno Chara, Andrew Ference, Shane Hnidy, P.J.  Axelsson and Stephane Yelle.
