WILMINGTON, Mass. — After downing their archrivals from Montreal, the Boston Bruins’ collective spirit is definitely high.

But there are still some downs to go with the ups today — as in demotions and recalls between Boston and Providence (AHL).

Defenseman Matt Lashoff is back and on the ice with about a dozen of his Boston teammates for an optional on-ice practice here at Ristuccia Arena. Forward Vladimir Sobotka is also on his way.

Winger Martins Karsums and goaltender Tuukka Rask have been returned to the P-Bruins.

And among the Bruins veterans on the ice are goaltender Manny Fernandez and winger Milan Lucic, who have both recently missed time with undisclosed injuries.
