Last pre-break home practice
WILMINGTON, Mass. — The Boston Bruins are on the ice this morning at Ristuccia Arena for their final home practice before the All-Star break.
The team is scheduled to depart for Toronto later today, play the Maple Leafs tomorrow night and then go on a four-day hiatus — returning for practice next Monday afternoon.
With the returning injured players joining the fray, there are a lot of guys on the ice. But Matt Lashoff doesn’t seem to be among the skaters. No official word yet from the Bruins on his status. I finally spotted Lashoff, who needs to put his visor on so he’s easier to recognize from a distance.
The lines as designated by their colored practice jerseys:
White: Lucic-Savard-Kobasew
Grey: Wheeler-Krejci-Bergeron
Yellow: Axelsson/Thornton-Yelle-Bitz
Burgundy: Sobotka-St. Pierre-Ryder/Nokelainen
Defense: Hnidy, Wideman, Hunwick, Stuart, Chara, Ference, Ward, Lashoff
Goalies: Fernandez, Thomas
More in a couple hours.
