The Boston Bruins this afternoon finally officially announced the contract extension for goaltender Tim Thomas. While the club does not release terms of contracts, it has been widely reported Thomas signed a four-year deal worth a total of $20 million. You’ll be able to double check that on nhlscap.com as soon as that site updates.
Thomas and Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli will hold a press conference to discuss the matter at 10 a.m. Saturday. TheBruinsBlog.net will have complete coverage.
