BOSTON — Boston Bruins defenseman Aaron Ward will not play today against the New York Rangers because of an undisclosed injury that he probably suffered in practice yesterday. Ward skated off a few minutes before the practice finished.
Before today’s game, there will be an awards ceremony for the presentation of a number of pieces of hardward, including the Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy to center Marc Savard for the “player who performed best in home games as voted by the Boston chapter of the PHWA.”
