Hunwick unsure what to make of Komisarek’s swipe
“I don’t think much of it. Things happen during a game,” said Boston winger Michael Ryder, a teammate a season ago of most of this year’s Habs. “They’re probably just a little frustrated at the way the game went. Overall, we can’t look too much into it. Just look at what we need to do in the next game. We came out with the win and that’s all we wanted.”

agreed, the Canadiens are dirty and cheap. It’s not acceptable
Honestly, whether there are suspensions or fines or not, I’m tired of hearing “it’s playoff hockey” as an excuse. Cheap shots are cheap shots…whether they are out of frustration, or not, and regardless of when they occur during the game.
A guy puts the nail in the coffin with an empty net goal and is then rode into the boards..oh it’s just playoff hockey. An elbow flies by a player’s chin at the end of the game…oh it’s just playoff hockey.
When will that excuse wear out? Hopefully not when somebody (especially one of our guys) winds up getting hurt..
