WILMINGTON, Mass. — After a brilliant Sunday away from the rink, the Boston Bruins are back at it at Ristuccia Arena this morning.

Defenseman Andrew Ference, out since April 4, is on the ice for his second straight practice. Center Patrice Bergeron and goaltender Tim Thomas, who haven’t practiced with the club since it clinched its first-round playoff series over Montreal last Wednesday, have joined the fray as well. The only missing body is captain Zdeno Chara. The defenseman’s absence is probably a personal matter, but I’ll have more in a bit.

UPDATE: Matt Hunwick is a rinkside observer today. He’s looking fit and well. I’ll have more on him later. Chara waas out for personal reasons.
