WILMINGTON, Mass. — The waiting and the practicing before the Eastern Conference semifinal series with Carolina continues this morning for the Boston Bruins at Ristuccia Arena.
Now seven days removed from their last game, the Bruins are holding one more practice today. Everyone is on the ice.
For those that don’t remember the lineup from more than a week ago, the lines are the same at practice:
Axelsson-Savard-Kessel
Recchi-Bergeron-Kobasew
Lucic-Krejci-Ryder
Thornton-Yelle-Wheeler
Bitz
Chara-Ward
Montador-Wideman
Stuart-Hnidy
Ference
Thomas and Fernandez.
More later.

Matt
Based on your observations, discussions, and opinions, could you comment on who you think Ference will bump from the lineup, Hnidy or Montador? My preference is to keep Hnidy in the lineup, although Montador is a faster, better skater that might match up better in that sense vs Carolina because they are fast up front. I just think Hnidy brings more grit and defensive stability than Montador, and I don’t think Montador makes the team any better than Hnidy. Also, Montador did not have a strong series vs Montreal, not exactly Matt-Lashoff-terrible, but not strong either. It may come down to who matches up better… thanks!
