MONTREAL — The second day of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. with the New York Islanders making the first pick (31st overall) in the second round at Bell Centre.

The Boston Bruins do not have a second-round pick. So barring a trade by general manager Peter Chiarelli, the Bruins’ next pick won’t be until the third round (86th overall).

I won’t do a live blog like I did last night because these second-day picks go by quick. But I’ll post updates throughout the afternoon and provide complete coverage of all the Bruins’ picks and any moves they make.
