Nilan nabbed after lifting bathing suit
What wouldn't Nilan due for these trunks?
So what does a former Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens tough guy do during the summers of his retirement? If you’re Chris Nilan, you try to buy a thrill by not paying for an item of clothing.
According to The Patriot Ledger, Nilan was picked up for shoplifting at the South Shore Mall after trying to steal a bathing suit. The case was dismissed Thursday in Quincy District Court and Nilan was ordered to pay $100 in court costs and to stay away from the Lord & Taylor store he was busted at.
Now maybe the Bruins’ alumni can throw a fundraiser to get Nilan some new swim trunks for the beach season.
