Looks like a Julien extension

Julien
History teaches us that with the Boston Bruins, you never know. But really, since general manager Peter Chiarelli took over and the front office was overhauled, there have been few shenanigans, so there’s no reason to believe that there’s anything but a contract extension coming for head coach Claude Julien when the team holds a 10 a.m. press conference at TD Bank Garden tomorrow.
Julien won the Jack Adams Trophy as coach of the year in the NHL last season and is entering the final year of a three-year deal.
To often, a GM is given credit for (or criticized) for the moves he’s made for players on the ice. In this case, PC needs to be given credit for the moves he’s made off the ice. Hiring CJ was his best move. Not to mention things like bringing Neely back in, his scouting department, his loading up of the P Bruins with talent and coaching, etc. etc. This man knows how to win. It’s no coincidence that the Bruins climb started When PC was brought in, and the fall of the Sens started when PC left. He has a vision and a plan. I hope that when he makes his move with Phil Kessel, whether it’s signing him or trading him, that we don’t jump all over him for it.
