Another role for Recchi

As if he didn’t already have enough on his hands with trying to help his Boston Bruins break out of their rut of mediocrity and find his own offensive game, Mark Recchi might be playing a larger role in the NHLPA in the months ahead.

According to Darren Dreger of TSN.ca, Recchi will be part of a four-player review committee that will look into the entire PA operation. Because there was not a quorum on Sunday’s conference call, one more vote is needed to pass the motion to form the committee.
