Helm
For the Bruins to leave Detroit tonight with two points in the standings, they’re obviously going to have to slow down star forwards Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk. But the newly formed trio of Darren Helm centering Patrick Eaves and Kris Draper could also provide Boston with some problems.
Draper figures his current triumvirate might be the fastest he’s played on in his lengthy career with the Red Wings. If Zetterberg and Datsyuk continue to play on separate lines, you figure Patrice Bergeron’s line will try to match up with one of them and David Krejci’s line will chase around the other. That’ll put the onus on Vladimir Sobotka’s trio to keep a close eye on the Helm trio in a battle of third lines.
Also, the Wings will be without defensemen Brian Rafalski and Jonathan Ericsson.
