Tonight’s game: Buffalo at Bruins, 7 p.m.

BOSTON — A goal and a point in the standings were nice reward for a better Bruins effort Thursday. Tonight the Bruins will look to take the next step against the division-leading Buffalo Sabres at TD Garden.
