For the first time this season, the Bruins won a game in the overtime session, as Patrice Bergeron tipped home a wrist shot by Zdeno Chara for a 2-1 road victory over first-place Buffalo.

Here are a couple quick notes:

•The Bruins other goal was one to celebrate as Milan Lucic scored for the first time since his return to action and Tuukka Rask earned an assist, the first of his NHL career.

•Rask played a third straight game for the first time in the NHL. He made 25 saves and was stellar.

•The Bruins hadn’t won (0-2-2) in their last four visits to HSBC Arena.
