What a difference a week makes.
One week after they seemed destined for the doldrums after a 4-1 loss on home ice to the New York Islanders, the Bruins completed their first three-game winning streak of the season by riding Patrice Bergeron’s four-point night to a 4-2 win at St. Louis tonight.

•Bergeron’s four-point night was one shy of his career high.
•The Bruins blocked 19 shots, led by Dennis Wideman and Derek Morris with four each.
•Marc Savard’s first game in more than a month went well, as he won 50 percent of his faceoffs and created some scoring chances (although no shots on net or plays that ended with a goal).
