WILMINGTON, Mass. — After a day off to celebrate their Saturday night win over Ottawa, the Bruins took the Ristuccia Arena ice for practice today minus two bodies.

Both center Patrice Bergeron and defenseman Matt Hunwick did not practice with the club. Head coach Claude Julien said that both players were taking maintenance days. Hunwick is expected to practice Tuesday, while Bergeron might not be ready to skate until Wednesday – the date of the Bruins’ next game.

Bergeron’s absence left the Bruins one forward short.
