Leafs are in the past

WILMINGTON, Mass. — At least for another week, the Bruins don’t have to worry about Toronto. They’ll finally have a new opponent Saturday, as they visit Long Island and the New York Islanders.

In preparation for that game, they hit the ice at Ristuccia Arena for practice today — minus defenseman Dennis Wideman and forward Byron Bitz. Bitz didn’t play against the Leafs because of illness.
