Gameday: Pittsburgh at Bruins, 7 p.m.

BOSTON — It appears Matt Cooke will be spared a meeting with the Boston media this morning, as the Pittsburgh Penguins — who got in late after a loss at New Jersey last night — will hold an optional morning skate at TD Garden. So far, it doesn’t appear Cooke will be among those in attendance.

The Bruins, however, are scheduled to hold their regular skate at 10:30. Surely, they’ll be ducking questions left and right about Cooke and what might transpire after the puck drops tonight.
