Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli confirmed during his conference call about Andrew Ference’s contract extension that center Vladimir Sobotka has a sore neck and will be re-evaluated today and tomorrow. Chiarelli said Sobotak is doubtful to play against Tampa Bay Thursday night.

Sobotka was injured on a hit by Evgeni Artyukhin in Atlanta in the first period Tuesday and did not return to the game. Chiarelli said a roster move might be made to replace Sobotka even though the Bruins have an extra forward in Brad Marchand.
