Injured since the Olympic break, Adam McQuaid is obviously healthy again. Today the Bruins announced they have recalled the defenseman from Providence (AHL) on an emergency basis. McQuaid hasn’t played in the NHL since Feb. 13 at Florida. He returned from his upper-body injury Saturday and also skated for Providence Sunday. His recall was necessary because of injuries to Mark Stuart and Dennis Seidenberg.
The Bruins are in Washington to face the Capitals at 7 p.m. on Versus.
