Bruins fans should have a new, non-Bruins, player to root for.

Evander Kane of Atlanta exacted some punishment on Pittsburgh thug Matt Cooke tonight in the Thrashers’ victory.

So Kane, a former junior teammate of Milan Lucic with the Vancouver Giants, lets fly with a solid right after getting challenged by the guy that concussed Lucic’s current teammate Marc Savard March 7. I can’t believe Kevin Bacon isn’t involved in that chain.
