WILMINGTON, Mass. — After a day off to celebrate their first-round series victory over Buffalo, the Bruins took the Ristuccia Arena ice to practice without knowing who they’ll face next. About eight hours from now, Washington and Montreal will meet in their Game 7 to determine who Boston faces.

Here are the lines as they skated them:

Brad Marchand and Trent Whitfield were the spare forwards. The D pairs remained the same with three “Black Aces” joining them. Thornton took the day’s first line drills with Marchand and Whitfield, if that’s indication who the healthy scratch would be. He also stayed out longer than any of the regular players, except for Savard.

More later.
