How is it one of the final 8 GMs in the tournament gets a C+?
If Krejci doesn’t get hurt we go to the finals. Did Chiarelli make some questionable moves this year? Perhaps but he also built a team that suffered thru injuries and put it all together to make a run at the end. Grading on the curve let’s call it a B/B+ for this year and how he is doing over last 4 years an A-
I guess this would solve the crowded defenseman corps that we were discussing in an earlier thread. If you couldn’t trade Wideman you could just move him down to bottom pairing with Ference. The Bruins would still be paying way too much for their 6 D-men but everyone would have a spot.
A Boychuk-Stuart pairing would be a physically formidable duo for opposing forwards, right?
