As per 12:30 p.m., TSN reports Bob McKenzie was reporting that a Marc Savard-for-Robyn Regehr deal with Calgary was a “serious consideration for both clubs.” But Savard has not been asked by the Bruins to waive his no-trade clause and Regehr also has a no-movement clause.
Regehr, 30, is a left shot with three years left on his deal worth an annual cap hit of $4,020,000.
A straight-up, one-for-one deal would leave the Bruins with nine forwards and six defense and would probably mean general manager Peter Chiarelli has a deal to move one of his blueliners in order to make room to re-sign Mark Stuart.
As of 12:45 p.m., CSNNE.com writer Joe Haggerty wrote there’s Western Conference interest in Savard, but Calgary deal “is unlikely.”

Trading Savard its just stupid.
If they added Regehr. But right now it doesn’t sound like it’s happening.
Confused who the 6 Dmen are. Chara-Boychuk; Seidenberg-Ference; Hunwick-?
Hunwick or Ference would be in play, obviously.
What blue-liner would the Bruins move in order to sign Mark Stuart?? Please say Ference, because I don’t want to let any of the other D-men go… And I still think trading Savard is a terrible move.

At this point moving Savard does not leave the Bruins with enough offensive firepower, I think moving him is a bad move.
