Lucic/By S. Bradley
WILMINGTON, Mass. — Milan Lucic continued to skate with more than a dozen of his teammates in a captains’ practice today at Ristuccia Arena.
After the session, the bulky winger touched on a number of subjects, including his ankle, Tyler Seguin and Marc Savard.
On Savard and this summer’s trade rumors, Lucic reiterated what Savard told a reporter in Ottawa last month about “hurt feelings.”
“Obviously, clearly they were all rumors. So, I mean, everyone’s different, everyone takes it different,” said Lucic about Savard, who’s not expected to report to the Bruins until next week. “Obviously, Savvy took it the way he did and his feelings were a little bit hurt. But I’m happy that he’s still part of this team because I felt in the three years that I’ve been, he’s one of the guys I’ve been closest with. And obviously we have our special bond on and off the ice. I’m happy that he’s back, and he’s happy that he’s still around too.”
Here’s a look at Lucic’s complete comments:

“which translates to savvy taking it like a teenage girl having her cell phone taken away.”
Pure comical drivel!
A reporter asks an athlete a question the athlete answers honestly instead of shrugging his shoulders and giving some programmed standard answer he’s called a girl. Laughable
Chiarelli’s communiaction skills were lacking after getting Savard to excepting a cap friendly deal. All PC had to do is call Marc and say something like “yes we entertained offers that is all.”
Savard with healthy wingers whom can actually put the puck in the net very, very good!
Are you kidding? Yeah that was a real tough guy move- gives Cooke a TINY shove on the shoulder and then veers off when Cooke turns to drop the gloves hoping a real tough guy (in this case lucic) steps in. Keep sticking up for the softest player ever pal.
Watch the video with your eyes open next time. Ryder goes after Cooke, shoves him into the glass, then gets shoved aside by Brooks Orpik as Lucic goes after Cooke (obviously not knowing what happened, but reacting to what Ryder did).
After that, nobody did anything. because nobody feels like fighting when a teammate is being loaded onto a stretcher.
Ryder should have been immediately released for standing there looking at Cooke while Savvy was unconscious
Savvy is the most consistent player the B’s have at their disposal. Having him at a $4mil cap hit is an absolute gift. Any Bruins “fan” who looks at his stats and looks at how much heart he shows, and doesn’t think he’s worth it… is a moron and should quit pretending to care about this team.
Savvy… you’re the man (and that’s an understatement). Thank you for everything you’ve done for this franchise.
The Bruins biggest problem is production…all Savard has done is to show up and play at a point per game pace the last several years. If he were paid based on his points vs. the team average, his contract would be absolutely Kovalchukish. The fella took a very kind contract to be a Bruin and competes in the games I have seen, and I’ve seen quite a few…he deserves a break in a big way. Lets only HOPE that guys like Seidenberg (given a 4 year $3.25 mil deal on a DREAM that he can live up to his potential, or Ryder $4 mil, same idea…yeesh) can come close. Savard can walk away with his head high at any point going forawrd.
Tons of love for savvy! Please be a bruin for life

Why do we call Savard a locker room problem and a whiner. This teenage girl is the first one to back up his teammates and sadly when he is vandalized no one is there for him.
“everyone takes it different” which translates to savvy taking it like a teenage girl having her cell phone taken away.
buck up, savvy. use chia’s wandering eye as some motivation this year.
