BOSTON — The Bruins’ rookies completed a two-game sweep of the New York Islanders tonight at TD Garden, as Ryan Spooner’s second goal of the game lit the lamp with 38.5 seconds left in overtime.

With the exception of five to six cuts, according to general manager Peter Chiarelli, the rookie team members will not move on to main training camp starting Saturday.
