BOSTON — Bruins head coach Claude Julien used an update on David Krejci’s health today after the second on-ice day of training camp to make light of the center’s play. The veteran has reported no problems so far with his surgically repaired wrist.
“I haven’t seen much of a difference, ” Julien said before letting loose with the playful jabs. “His wrist shot has never been the hardest wrist shot in the league. So I guess, when it comes to that, we still see the same wrist shot. So it’s a matter, is it his wrist or is it the same wrist shot he had before?
“He’s fine. I think he’s skating well, he’s seeing the ice real well and he’s on target right now.”
