Bartkowski/By S. Bradley
The Bruins officially announced the assigning of Matt Bartkowski to Providence (AHL) this afternoon. He’ll stay with the team in Prague, but cannot practice.
The team’s roster now stands at the league maximum of 23, including third string goaltender Nolan Schaefer but not counting tryout forward Brian McGrattan.
The deadline to have an opening-night roster set is 3 p.m. EST. I’ll have more on the Bruins’ roster later today.

I’m going less for AF 5 games. Bartkowski will be up before long is right to good to keep down. Confidence booster that he was kept this long.
PC is loyal and wants to think he can help Hunwick. I have my doubts as his taster choice for men talks with WIDE MAN (Duck!) did not work.
Seven games
bart will be back soon. what’s the over / under on af’s trick groin?
Guys…and Gals…
I picked up Matt’s book from Amazaon last week.
This book is awesome for B’s fans and hockey fans in general. Its so cool to read about things in the Bruins past that I remeber, and also about things that were before my time.
I am not an avid reader, a one cool thing about his book is you can jump around from 1 to 100 in any order you want….Fantastic!
Matt does a great job with the book! If you enjoy this blog, you will love this book. I reccommend it to all, and anticipate you will enjoy it as much as I am.
Great run by this kid…he should be proud.
Agree with Matt, and look forward to seeing him in the spoked B when he is called upon.
Haven’t seen the last of him, I am sure of that
Bummer. He was not the 7th best D man in camp, Hunwick was.
