Video: Caron keeps on earning the admiration of his coach and teammates

Caron
BOSTON — Pretty soon we might have to change the Bruins rookie winger’s name from Jordan Caron to Jordan Julien. There’s no doubt that if he could, Bruins head coach Claude Julien would adopt this kid.
Even when not asked directly about the 19-year-old, Julien gushes about the Caron.
“Well, I think the guys are getting a little familiar with each other, you know. I think the guy that I can’t say enough about is Jordan Caron,” Julien said when asked about his team’s penalty kill during the recent four-game winning streak, including tonight’s 4-1 win over Washington at TD Garden. “He had an outstanding game tonight but he has been so good on our penalty kill — smart plays and stripping guys and beating the shooting lane. Him and [Patrice Bergeron] now have formed a good pair.”
Here’s what Caron had to say after he scored a goal in the victory in his first regular-season home game.
Breaking in on the wing of a line centered by Bergeron, in addition to skating with Bergeron on the PK, obviously has benefited the teenager.
“It’s fun. It’s weird when you look at it because not too long ago I was a rookie,” said Bergeron. “So it’s kind of funny to see. He’s a good kid, he’s playing well and he deserves to be on the ice.”
No doubt he’ll be on the ice plenty as long as he keeps performing and Julien’s the coach. Julien might not even let him go home for the summer.
i thought the kids played great Seguin showed how fast he is and Caron is so smart without the puck.I was really impressed with Ryder and wheeler if they play like that most games the Bruins will be winning alot of games this year

Two goals is really nice from this kid, but to echo what the Claude says up top, I’m really impressed with his penalty killing. A lot of responsibilty for a kid and he’s answering the call.
Mark: “Even though the B’s had some great success on the PP…”
Yeah, who was that out there on the man advantage last night? The looked pretty damn good against the leagues best PK. Nice adjustments for sure.
This kid is the total package. Even though the B’s had some great success on the PP last night with their new units, Caron definitely deserves some time there soon.
