BOSTON — The Bruins’ four-game winning streak was due to come to a close.
And it did in tough fashion, as the Bruins came up one goal short against the New York Rangers at TD Garden, 3-2, in Tuukka Rask’s return to action.
Here’s a quick recap of the box score:
•The Rangers scored two goals in a 27-second stretch of the first period to grab a lead they never relinquished.
•In the losing cause, Nathan Horton scored his fifth goal of the season and ran his point-scoring streak to six games.
•Henrik Lundqvist finished with 35 saves.
