WILMINGTON, Mass. — Winger Marco Sturm, who underwent MCL and ACL surgery last spring, skated for the first time today as part of his rehabilitation.
The prognosis at the start of his recovery was for a late-November return.
“That’s going to be tough,” Sturm said after his skate.
Sturm said there has been some fluid build up at times, and other factors, including the trip to Europe, have slowed his progress. Otherwise, he felt good after skating.
He plans to continue skating on his own for around two weeks.

This gives PC some time to make the right deal.
Moving Paille and Wheels will make room for Sturm, as long as it is for draft picks and prospects.
Fluid in the knee is bad. He won’t be back before December.
I think he just wants more time off for shoe shopping.
