WILMINGTON, Mass. — The Bruins went through their usual hour-long practice today at Ristuccia Arena before departing on a two-game road trip that starts Wednesday in Buffalo.

There was plenty of special teams work that nearly cost rookie Jordan Caron a toe. The forward took a Zdeno Chara shot off the end of his foot, which brought pain that took a brief skate around the rink bent over to shake off.

The lines were the same as Monday, and all six defensemen and both goaltenders took the ice.
