WILMINGTON, Mass. — While the Bruins got the bad news Sunday that they’ll be without center David Krejci for at least a week with a moderate concussion, the news on injured stars Marc Savard and Marco Sturm continues to be positive.
Both have been skating on a regular basis for some time.
“He’s starting to feel like he’s in good shape,” Chiarelli said about Savard. “There hasn’t been any lingering side effects that we talked about earlier on in his rehab. He was in very good spirits. I wouldn’t say he’s champing at the bit yet but we’re almost at that corner with the turnaround. To me – again, timetables are difficult – but to me he seemed in good shape, good spirits. I wouldn’t say he’s close, but he’s getting here.”
As for Sturm, he seems on schedule to return in about a month.
“Again, you don’t really want to hammer down a timetable or a time frame – but my guess is maybe the first week, 10 days of December,” said Chiarelli.

110% is unattainable.

The B’s are good enough to win their fair share of games, so there should be no rush for either player. Not to mention there may be some salary cap issues to resolve upon each players return to the lineup.
Neither player should return until they are 110% ready.
