Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli says center David Krejci, who suffered a moderate concussion last Saturday, is still suffering from mild headaches.
However, Chiarelli also told the Toucher and Rich radio show on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston, that Krejci is feeling very good otherwise and is getting better every day.
When asked about avoiding bringing Krejci back to0 soon and falling into a Marc Savard-like situation, Chiarelli talked about sticking to the protocol and all the tests and doctor visits Krejci will have make. Chiarelli then reassured the hosts based on his team’s history with Savard and Patrice Bergeron also suffering concussions during his stint as GM.
“I think we’re experts on concussions with what we’ve been through the last three, four years,” said Chiarelli.
