BOSTON — About an hour before tonight’s game with Montreal, Bruins head coach Claude Julien offered an update on David Krejci’s health.

“I saw him this morning, and he continues to improve. I think in the next day or so, there’s a good chance we’ll hopefully have some positive news. He’s going in the right direction right now. There’s not much to say when a guy has a concussion. It’s just a slow process. … We hope in the next few days he takes another big step.”

Julien reiterated the point from earlier in the week that Krejci has not done any physical activity since suffering his concussion Saturday. So a positive step could be something as simple as riding the bike in the days ahead. The coach also said Krejci has not suffered any setbacks.
