Bruins celebrate a Lucic goal/By S. Bradley

BOSTON — The Bruins have finally figured out how to succeed in the second half of a back-to-back situation.

The key is to wait until the third period before erupting with all your offensive firepower.

Milan Lucic scored two thirds of his natural hat trick as part of a three-goal third period by the Bruins on their way to a 4-0 wipe out of the Florida Panthers at TD Garden tonight, one night after squeaking by, 3-2, in New York.

Here’s a glance at the box score:

•Tuukka Rask made 40 saves on 40 shots, including 14 by Florida winger David Booth.

•Nathan Horton assisted on all three Lucic goals.

•Lucic, Horton, Andrew Ference, Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron all posted plus-3 ratings.
