BOSTON — Bruins coach Claude Julien said tonight after Boston’s 4-0 win over Florida at TD Garden that recovering center Marc Savard is “getting close” to being able to practice with the team.

Savard, out since the start of the season due to post-concussion syndrome symptoms, has been skating with the other injured players. Today Julien gave Savard and fellow concussion sufferer David Krejci the day off.

Julien said Savard could be skating with his full host of teammates in a few days to a week.

Krejci will continue to practice with the team as well. He was cleared for contact earlier in the week.
