BOSTON — With all the attention paid to Marc Savard’s first morning skate of the season today, little mind was paid to another Bruins center trying to come back from a concussion.

David Krejci had yet to skate in a contact practice since his Nov. 6 concussion, so it was assumed he wouldn’t be back in the lineup at least until Monday. That all changed tonight, as Krejci skated in the warm-up and then logged 22:21 of ice time in Boston’s 4-3 shootout loss to Los Angeles at TD Garden.

Krejci fired four shots on net, won 71 percent of his faceoffs and failed on his shootout attempt. All in all, it was a solid night back between his wingers Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton.
