You can hate the Montreal Canadiens all you want Bruins fans, but you cannot deny that when it comes to honoring the franchise’s history and producing ceremonial moments, the Bell Centre crew does it best.
In case you missed it last night, here’s video of the home of the Habs’ musical tribute to the late Pat Burns:
Imagine having the class to acknowledge that the guy not only coached three other teams, but even two of your archest rivals. In Boston, they amuse the masses by dressing up interns in Habs jerseys and shoot video of them getting a “seat upgrade” into the street.
If you don’t have a slight tear in your eye after watching the Burns tribute, including the scene of him coaching behind Anson Carter and a youthful P.J. Axelsson, you’re not human.
Merci, Bell Centre.
