WILMINGTON, Mass. — With a rare Saturday with no game between yesterday’s matinee loss to Carolina and tomorrow evening’s tilt in Atlanta, the Bruins hit the ice at Ristuccia Arena for a full practice.
Jordan Caron, who was scratched from yesterday’s game with the flu, and David Krejci did not practice. Krejci was hit by a Johnny Boychuk shot-during yesterday’s game, but no word on that’s the cause of his absence. Krejci was also out with the flu. Both players will not travel with the team to Atlanta, although they could rejoin the team Sunday if they’re well.
All the other healthy players, plus Marc Savard — centering Michael Ryder and Daniel Paille — skated. Marco Sturm was not on the ice also because of a touch of the flu, according to head coach Claude Julien.
