Krejci scored 2/By S. Bradley
BOSTON — The Bruins offense just needed a dose of Marc Savard to come alive.
Or at least that’s what it looked like during Boston’s 8-1 rout of Tampa Bay tonight at TD Garden.
With the star center fully recovered from post-concussion syndrome and in the lineup for the first time all season, the Bruins scored their most goals in one game since Dec. 18, 2008.
Here’s a quick glance at the box score:
•Twelve different players registered a point for the Bruins, led by David Krejci (2-1-3) and Michael Ryder (1-2-3).
•Almost an afterthought in the blowout was Tim Thomas, who made 37 saves.
•Krejci and Nathan Horton were the big winners in the plus/minus department with plus-4 ratings.
