So much for the learning experience that goes with practicing with the NHL squad and watching the Bruins play from the press box.
The Bruins today assigned first-year pro Jordan Caron to the Providence (AHL) farm club for the first time this season. Caron and head coach Claude Julien today both spoke about the positives of staying in the NHL, but obviously the front office had other ideas.

MCK you are wearing homer glasses with that comment. Wheeler and Caron ( Ilove them both) are not enough for Yandle.
Rather Colborne before Caron, but I wouldn’t cry over Wheeler/Caron for Yandle.
I would trade Wheeler in a heartbeat. I don’t think he will ever reach his potential. Trade him while he still has value. Caron and Wheeler is too much for Yandle
In my ideal world… Sturm would head to the Kings, and Wheeler/Caron would be sent to PHX for Yandle. Cap relief on both counts for the B’s, PHX makes out with two young forwards who could add serious depth. I’m only dreaming though… Maloney probably wouldn’t bite.
As posted 2 days ago:
Frank { 12.04.10 at 1:14 pm } Whether you like it or not, Caron will be sent down to Providence shortly. Bruins will not want to carry 14 forwards & they’ll prefer to keep Paille as the 13th. Not that Paille’s better but it’s plain stupid to keep a 20 yo rookie inactive too long. If there are no injuries, there’s no room for him in the current lineup.
good point about Wheeler. works with me.
As much as we want him in Boston, it can be good for him getting quality minutes down here….get him out there with Colborne and Sauve when he comes back……oh yeah!
