I like Marco but some of you guys are WAY too sentimental. Forget this nonsense about, “what he’s done for the club” or he “deserves” a shot somewhere else. All he deserves is his salary and I’m sure his checks clear. He’s a player under contract and will do what the management decides. End of story. Save your sympathy for people that need it.
In fact, I do. Why Sturm? Why? Isn’t that a good headline?
It’s not fair on a personal basis to wait for an injury with sturm in providence. He has done too much for the club to earn a trip to the AHL (unlike Ryder). I think he should be in the NHL, meaning we either make room for him or ship him elsewhere.
You do know what “wherefore” means “why”, right?
He has been a model player as well as a significant contributor in seasons past. We should be grateful for his services (always rendered with a trademark grin), and grant him his trade. He has worked hard to come back and is owed another shot, if not here than somewhere else. To demote him would not sit right with me.
federal hill all the way since b’s can’t get anything of value for him. hang out in providence and wait for another injury.
I think a team that has problems with offense shouldn’t trade someone who has proven to score. Bad knees and all can he be a better goal scorer then Dan Paille or someone with lackluster offensive skills?
Go Bruins
i’d like to send him down and see what he has left, we might need him next year when recchi retires. Also you never know where injuries may leave you. The only issue is that he doesn’t want to go down.
