Hat trick for Bergeron/By S. Bradley
BOSTON — We can no longer claim the Bruins haven’t produced a 60-minute effort this season.
From start to finish tonight, the Bruins rolled over the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden led by a hat trick from Patrice Bergeron in the 6-0 laugher.
In all, seven different players recorded at least one point in the Bruins’ rout.
Here’s a glance at the box score:
•The hat trick was Bergeron’s first of his NHL career. He had eight previous two-goal games. Bergeron was also a plus-4 and logged just 12:41 of ice time.
•With his 31-save performance tonight, Tim Thomas set a new career high with his sixth shutout of the season. He leads the league in that department and is tied for sixth on the Bruins’ all-time list with 23 blankings in his career.
•Andrew Ference and Adam McQuaid were a plus-4.

how is one goal a hattrick?
Great effort & a great game.
Now if they can repeat it against a team that hasn’t quit on their coach, nor is in the bottom 4 in the league, I’ll be ecstatic.
Thursday should be a great game if they bring the same 60 minute effort.
Great game this is the way this team should be playing every game .See what happens when you play in the other teams end you score and you don’t have to try to win 1-0 every night. We still need that heavyweight Thorton got his ass kicked and paille could have gotten killed at the end of the game there.
