BOSTON — Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas made sure that before he took off for the All-Star Game in Raleigh, he put forth one more All-Star-worthy performance tonight.

Thomas stopped 34 of 35 shots in Boston’s 2-1 win over the Florida Panthers at TD Garden.

The veteran now heads to his third mid-season classic with an amazing .945 save percentage and 1.81 goals-against average.

Here’s a glance at the rest of the box score:

•Milan Lucic and Brad Marchand scored the Bruins’ goals. Lucic’s was his 20th of the season.

•Zdeno Chara led Boston with four hits.

•Florida’s goal came from Bryan Allen. His defense partner Dennis Wideman, the ex-Bruin, was minus-1 with no points on the night and is now minus-17 on the season.
