BOSTON — It took long enough for Phil Kessel to figure out the Bruins’ defense.
And when he did tonight, he did it in dramatic fashion, as he scored twice in Toronto’s 4-3 win over the Bruins at TD Garden.
Kessel’s teammate Mikhail Grabovski was an even bigger hero, with two goals of his own including the game-winner with just 1:01 left on the clock.
Here’s a look at the rest of the box score:
•Daniel Paille scored in his return from a four-game suspension. Gregory Campbell and Patrice Bergeron scored Boston’s other goals.
•In net, James Reimer made 32 saves on 35 shots to earn the win for the Maple Leafs.
•Defenseman Tomas Kaberle, rumored over the course of the day to being close to traded to Boston, logged 19:54 of ice time and was a plus-1 with an assist.
